I am researching John Newton, b England and Jessie Crosbie (Crosby) (daughter of James Crosbie, b Scotland, d Kingston, Jamaica). my 3-g grandparents, and their daughter, Frances (Fannie, Fanny) Newton, b 1830, is my 2-g grandmother. Their other children are: John, b 1821, William, b 1822; Andrew, b 1824; Jessie (Jesse), b 1827; Edmund, b 1832, all born in Jamaica; and Marion, b 1838 in Maryland, USA. They all left Jamaica in 1837 and went to Maryland, USA. After John died in 1841, Jessie and her children went to live in Michigan, USA.
