Cathy A. advises that The Beinecke Lesser Antilles Collection at Hamilton College in New York State http://beinecke.hamilton.edu/ contains a lot of very interesting documents from the islands. For example the manuscript that contains the names of all the people in Grenada who swore allegiance to the English King after the conquest.

They have started to digitize the collection - all free and downloadable. The project is, however, not yet complete. By the way, Cod, I noticed a couple of Codrington documents. There are documents from many islands including the French speaking ones.

For example:

Heading M166. Ceded Islands (Grenada).
ID bei-m166
Title Grenada, 1765 [Oath of Allegiance]
Date 1765
Description 30 images
Type manuscripts (document genre), correspondence, legal documents
